Royalty Free Images for use on Websites
If you own a web site finding images for it can be very difficult. First we must start with a serious warning.
Stealing Images is theft. If you do this you run the risk of having your website shut down without warning by your host or criminal proceedings started against you.
So when we need to brighten up websites where is a good source of free images? Wikipedia provides the answer to this. Wikipedia articles are contributed to by you and me and so are the images. Most people who contribute to this are happy for their images to be used elsewhere. Search Wikipedia for the images you want, or search http://commons.wikimedia.org/ then view the copyright information to see if you can use the picture. The chances are you can, and there are almost three million to choose from. Allowing you to legally add images to your website free of charge.

If you’re looking for royalty free images and you have a little cash to burn, I would also try iStockPhoto - it’s a marketplace for royalty free images.
